This is potentially the grimmest perspective I’ve ever read. I don’t think you’re wrong, either.

Tony hawk gazes upon the mountains before him. The pale mountains of Switzerland, in the multilingual country of Switzerland, located near the center of Europe. The peaks before him, Swiss mountains of the country of Switzerland in a region predominantly speaking German, beckoned him. He loaded his skateboard underneath his arm and ambled toward the mass of earth that he would make his.
The journey was long and rife with Italian and German-speaking Swiss pointing out his appearance, but he broke free of their eyes and ankles and climbed to the summit. As he slid the skateboard out from beneath his sensuous arm, he awakened. In one fluid motion, he dropped and mounted the board, riding down the mountain like a man in fire, breaking the language barrier as he shrieked affirmations of his identity in hypoxic confusion. Each of his limbs were found in separate lingual regions, leading the world to posthumously dub him “Switzerland’s Exodia.”
TIL worldstar is still running. Huh.
Reminds me of the always sunny interview where an audience member shouted “shut up, bird.” Kinda missed the point there.
It’s a safe space in the literal sense. They defederated to keep out hate speech cross contamination.
Political stability is reasonable, economy’s unstable, seems uneasy. I get curious every few years and read up.

Seems pretty usable overall, great for midsize loads and the overwhelming majority of personal projects. Given the ubiquity of untouched ultra-capacity vanity trucks, this is an actual reasonable daily driver.
Sincere question, is it difficult to create harvest methane from animals? Most livestock basically never sees the sun so it’s not like there’s an interminable area to harvest from, and stories of farmyard methane fires aren’t exactly uncommon so the concentration is there.
You mention downvotes? Believe it or not, reduce. You mention upvotes, also reduce. We have the best comments in the world because of reduce.
conservatives have been scapegoating assorted minorities and disempowered people since the Industrial Revolution. The hate’s baked in! Might as well put it on the label.
And I mind the downvotes, because they’re indicative of bigots. Fun to see who they are from kbin, though.
It’s my right to disown any queer children I may or may not have, and it’s the school’s duty to help. I presume that’s the opinion of the people downvoting you.
The further increased customizability of kbin has been tugging at my curiosity for weeks, but I haven’t taken the dive yet. You might have finally convinced me.
From what I understand of internet use as a whole, there’s no way to convince someone to change their browsing habits directly. Most don’t care enough. If you tell them about something you’ve done or found on here, they might become interested and browse. It’s an open platform for lurkers, so share a link or two when appropriate. If they ask why you prefer it, tell them in a way that would be meaningful to them, but never do it unprompted. Don’t get your hopes up, but some might join.
I might sound a bit elitist, but the sort of people who would join Threads would lead to step 0 of the enblandening of the entire fediverse. Not to mention increased bot spam. I say this as someone who is likely enblandening the fediverse.
“ The_Donald was one of the biggest conservative communities on the internet. It represented actual politicians and the people who voted for them, it allowed debate”
Why even try to lie so blatantly about banned dissent circlejerk: the subreddit. For fun, or what?
His face says “I’m absolutely doing this again.”
