I do have to admit some hypocrisy in my statement. I’m just too angry to be completely fair lately I guess, but I too have said in the past that I strongly agree with the sentiment that “no one is the villain of their own story.” I do believe that to be true.

Except some people like Musk, I’m pretty sure he knows he’s the villain.

Idk, sometimes I’ve tried putting fake emails addresses on other sites with a similar format and I get an error that says it isn’t a valid email. I don’t really know enough about validation of those things though, I just assumed there was a way to check past is it xxx@yyy.com

I think that takes more thought than even those who vote with us do. I think we seriously overestimate the political intelligence of the people in this country. Not to say 0% were those people, but if we’re talking millions I think we’re talking about typical ignorance.

I think the vast majority vote D for social issues, but once their pocketbook gets hurt it’s time to sit it out or worse “punish” the party in power by voting for the opposition. :(

It wasn’t even exactly that. It was MILLIONS of people who voted Democrat previously just sitting this one out. I don’t think there are 15 Million “Gaza or bust” voters so this was just pure ignorance…

Not that it was perfectly executed by any stretch of the imagination, but the alternative was everyone “non-essential” goes broke and businesses everywhere collapse. There was no world where we just didn’t do lockdowns, we don’t have the luxury of hindsight when something new happens obviously. We probably didn’t need the lockdowns because COVID spread regardless :(

That’s the seriously fucked part of all of this… Trump will run his 4 years because the worst of us never die, then the DNC runs the resurrected corpse of Regan to court the moderate vote again, loses in another landslide to Vance, Vance gets 2 terms… By then Musk runs some fiefdom, Bezos runs his own, Zuckerberg run his Hawaiian fiefdom… After that if I’m not dead I’ll make sure I am.

I wouldn’t expect anything from anyone at this point. I expect essentially radio silence until Trump takes over.

And like I’ve been saying all day when they inevitably cry about hurting the wrong people it is now our duty to say: shut the fuck up you voted for this! He said he was doing this exact thing and he did it.

Seed oils are not the greatest thing to have in so many foods and while not pesticide, I hope they do something about Monsantos Roundup.

But those affect billionaires so I seriously doubt he’ll be allowed to do anything like that.

Regenerative agriculture should involve not having monocultures everywhere and that should improve soil conditions so that could be a positive. Again not really holding out any hope though as those things cost more than typical mass profit mass production.
