we need a public inquiry into Jewish Schools and their grooming of Jewish kids into support for the genocidal ideology of Zionism. But it’s not only schools, even nurseries are involved, run by genocidal cults like Chabad and other Hasidic/Haredi sects. Then there are all the Torah classes, Kollel, Yeshivot etc.

Then there’s the youth movements, and ‘young adult’ movements many of which have branches in the UK

(Youth Movements Hashomer Hatzair | Hanoar Hatzioni | Tzameret | Hamahanot Ho’olim | Haihud Hahaklai | Ariel | Betar | National Youth/Noar Leumi | The General Federation Of Working And Studying Youth/HaNoar HaOved VeHaLomed(NOAL) | Tzofim | World Bnei Akiva | Maccabi Hatzair | Ezra | Habonim Dror | Netzer Olami: Young Adult Movements PZC | Magshimei Tora VeAvode | Bana | Tagar | Tamar | Maccabi | Atid | Marom | Magshimei Herut )

  • Al Jazeera, actually al Udeid, is a weapon of US imperialism. Theres two very good articles on this.

All US Military Bases Are Your Enemy

Today, the most widespread and influential Arab media institutions in traditional and digital media operate under the protection of US military bases. This presence is not a coincidence, but a clear, well-defined role that entails a lot of role distribution while maintaining the main goal, which is to obscure the enemy. For example, since the start of the Zionist extermination war on the Gaza Strip, there are daily shipments of weapons from Washington’s Al-Udeid Air Base in Qatar to the occupation entity’s bases in occupied Palestine. Shipments carrying tools of extermination are accompanied by pressure and threats against anyone working to stop the extermination.

But the Arab viewer will not see even one news item (even in passing) about the role of the Al-Udeid base in the extermination of the Palestinian people (and before them the Syrian, Iraqi, Yemeni, Afghan, and Libyan peoples.) Why? Because the media empire dominating minds and screens operates under the protection of this base and will not deviate—even by mistake—from the path of media propaganda for which it was established under the shadows of this US base. From here, we can understand the ease of the “hostility” that Al Jazeera shows towards Israel, in exchange for completely and deliberately obfuscating the role of US military bases in the war of extermination against the Palestinians (whom Al Jazeera claims to support.)

Inconsistencies Between Arabic and English Broadcast Programming: Al Jazeera Walks a Tightrope

Syrian writer Naram Serjoonn published an article on his blog entitled “Al Jazeera Performs the Dance of Salome* for the Arab People … and It Will Demand a Head in Return for Its Dance in Gaza.” He stated that the channel “is pleased to lose some reporters because that will grant it credibility. Just as the US killed the Kuwaiti journalist Tariq Ayoub (1967 – 2003), a correspondent for Al Jazeera during the US invasion of Baghdad, and Al Jazeera reclaimed ‘innocence’ following his death. Despite fueling the bloodbath of the Arab Spring, today the outlet will present its reporters’ injuries as a certificate of innocence, claiming to be targeted because it poses a threat to Israel.” Thus, the channel walks a tightrope, gaining viewers’ trust in some circumstances, while exploiting it politically in subsequent phases.

The constant shifting in Al Jazeera’s coverage according to circumstances is also present in its English-speaking channel, which generally targets a Western audience. It does not dedicate its full broadcast and bulletins to Palestine despite having the most airtime on the subject. In its coverage of Palestinian news, it focuses on what matters to the Western audience—similar to international and UN positions— demonstrations, boycotts, and calls for ceasefires. It almost entirely neglects what the Palestinian Resistance’s Military Media publishes, seemingly due to considerations of broadcasting in Western countries and fear of potential repercussions.

Consequently, a defeatist tone dominates the content of Al Jazeera English. Meanwhile it fails to showcase the capabilities of the resistance that prove the futility of the occupation’s actions and its inability to achieve any of its declared objectives. Mostly, its coverage involves the killing of innocent civilians. Al Jazeera’s English channel’s coverage of Palestinian resistance operations can be likened to how its Arabic-speaking channel deals with operations in Lebanon. It treats them as if they do not exist. However, despite this, Al Jazeera English plays a striking role in shaping public opinion in the West.

  • I’m familiar with Sykes Picot and the history of the Arab Revolt against the Ottoomans. I’m not sure its totally fair to characterize Hussein as a British agent but I’m open to more evidence on the matter.

If we are being honest, Antoun Saadeh had the most realistic analysis of nationhood in the region of “the Levant”: everyone is Syrians basically and has been Syrians for thousands of years. These statelets are just parts of bilad al Sham.

However, I’m pretty sure that after the last century of sectarianism and Sykes Picot, that return is basically impossible now and I know for a fact that many people in “Natural Syria” (or Greater Syria) categorically reject the concept.

At this point in time Palestine is the central struggle for all Syrians, Arabs, Muslims, and justice-loving people on earth. And the flag is a universally recognized symbol for that struggle. So I’m going to respect the flag.

  • There is an interesting relevant history. Regarding the UN resolution 678 which justified the imperialist destruction and genocide of Iraq in the 90’s, the US pressured all members on the security council to support it. Even non-permanent members.

With America’s place in the world, not to mention Mr. Bush’s political future, riding on the outcome of the gulf crisis, the Administration never hesitated to let other nations know that their support for this resolution was vital to Washington, which would remember its friends, and its foes. Minutes after the Yemeni elegate joined the Cubans in voting against the resolution at the Security Council on Thursday, a senior American diplomat was instructed to tell him: “That was the most expensive no vote you ever cast” – meaning it would result in an end to America’s more than $70 million in foreign aid to Yemen.

Thankfully the US has much less leverage against Russia and China today compared to 35 years ago but I think its readily apparent that the UN “peacekeepers” are generally just used as cudgels on behalf of US-led NATO domination. Examples from Haiti to Lebanon to Mali

I would much prefer a UN that is utterly powerless than one that is used to justify genocidal sanctions on Iraq or Iran for instance.

Thanks for the sources, I’ve learned a lot more new material from this than I care to admit

Always glad to share when I have time. We are all always learning new things together 🫡

  • Namely the first two. The premise of R2P or “responsibility to protect” has been heavily promoted and one of the major arguments for it was “the UN did nothing to stop genocide in Rawanda”. Of course when R2P was applied it was to justify completely destroying Libya in service of US empire.

In truth, in Rawanda, the most heinous crimes were carried out by the RPF led by US puppet Paul Kagame on behalf of US interests.

The same issue in Sudan today is the US-israel-UAE arming RSF militants to throw the country into a perpetual civilian war. This is in line with the decades long zionist-American plot to fracture Sudan.

In Myanmar, again, the imperialists are heavily invested in propagating lies to justify various types of intervention in the name of human rights but really to expand their empire.

People dont just wake up one day and decide to exterminate their neighbors. Such genocidal campaigns are precipitated by imperialist schemes. And in cases when multi-lateral “human rights” interventions occur it has always turned out worse rather than better.

The world doesnt need more UN intervention it needs death to America.
