I’ve been waiting for this to drop from the first trailer. Fantastic remake with a lot of tools to help first time players.

Anyone else playing?

I never played Dragon Quest, but these remakes make me very hopeful that we’ll see a Chrono Trigger remake similar to these.

I adore the first trilogy of DQ games but I’m holding off cause I don’t like or trust SE anymore (plus, denuvo, ugh).

I will say, it’s a better experience to play 1 thru 3 in order with no prior knowledge of what makes them a trilogy. Having 3 stand alone kind of misses that “oh fuuuuuuuck” realization I got to experience (and subjected a friend to, who has yet to forgive me lol). It’s what made 3 one of my favorites next to 5 and 11.

Due to my financial situation I shouldn’t be buying any games right now, but this is so tempting to buy anyway.

I might pick it up in the near future. I don’t have much nostalgia for the NES Dragon Quest games, but this one looks amazing.

If they remake DQV and VI in this style I will buy it in a heartbeat! And yes, I know V had two remakes already, but none of them are available on a modern platform.

I want it and even though I have the money I’m not spending $60 American on it. Same deal with the new Secret of Mana game.

Just started! It’s been a minute since I played the Gameboy Color version, but the orchestra versions of the music are immediately familiar.
