Why the living fuck is Donald Trump running so normalized? Why isn’t anyone going like “we shouldn’t consider him since he attempted a coup.”

I feel like I’m taking fucking crazy pills.

Because Republicans have known since W Bush that demographics side with Democrats, so Republicans are giving up on voting to maintain power.

The original plan was to bring in Hispanics and other minorities into the party as a way to stop the demographic loss, but since 2008 the party had shown itself to be filled with a ton of racists who are happy with taking their mask off.

So if you have a party for with people who know they can’t win in the future in a few election, they’ll accept making it an unfair election.

It’s more than that, this time. It’s a political establishment scared to punish anyone who is in politics because they’re afraid if they actually put down Trump’s crimes, they’ll have to admit to similar crimes themselves, and face similar charges.

It’s not simply his (exaggerated) money, it’s the fact that he’s a former President. Obama let Bush off the hook for being a war criminal and literally set the stage for this because our political establishment is filled with giant pussies who refuse to dole out punishment lest it be doled out to them, too. Maybe if we had sent Bush and Cheney to Geneva for war crimes to end their lives like Saddam Hussein, we might not be in this dumb fucking shitshow.
