Gathered in Eastern North Carolina. One day I’ll be confident enough in my ID to actually try eating them…😅

Amanita Jacksonii - (I put it in the title)

They’re supposed to be choice edibles, but the Amanita Genus as some of the most deadly poisonous mushrooms there are and these in particular have plenty of lookalikes.
