Having great fun trying to depict my setting (link) in Flowscape.

In order to create the dramatic geography of this city, the cliff faces are actually 3D mountain assets rotated and transformed. As I get more familiar with the software I’m excited to see what else I can do.

Hopefully I get faster, as this setting has over 50 towns and cities…

This looks interesting. I started learning Blender specifically to depict my conworld. This is the first time I’ve heard of Flowscape. It looks neat.

It’s a fun piece of software, but I’m not sure I should recommend it for doing any work of substance. It’s very much designed around meditative, meandering, playful creation rather than deliberate, goal oriented creativity.

I think blender is the right tool to be learning, you’ll have way more transferable skills from it and way more control over your outputs.

Thanks! It was more work than it should have been as I’m still learning the software, but I got ambitious. It’s far from finished, but I’m delighted to have another creative outlet.
