A study in the journal American Psychologist says an algorithm’s ability to accurately guess one’s political views is “on par with how well job interviews predict job success”
So it doesn’t.
Unless something’s changed, job interviews are no more effective at choosing employees as is picking names out of a hat (studies done in the 80’s and 90’s).
I suspect it’s even worse today, since they all use things like STAR processes, which are easily beaten by simply knowing the well-published questions.
