The required plebiscites will coincide with the 2023 Barangay and SK elections in October 1. However, I don’t know how will they be represented in the Lower House (i.e. which legislative district/s will they be in).

If approved, these eight will be the first municipalities to be formed since July 2009, when three municipalities were formed by the then-ARMM Legislative Assembly in present-day Maguindanao del Sur: Datu Hoffer Ampatuan, Datu Salibo, and Shariff Saydona Mustapha.
