And it looks like Multnomah County will be suspending the ordinance after public outcry.
I’m guessing no one took even one second to realize what an odor code would actually do because as described, it’s immediately obvious.
It definitely sounds like a “No wait, not like that” reaction to the obvious consequence.
I didn’t read the article but I wonder if this was malicious compliance to draw attention to a bad law.
I think I speak for everyone when I say I don’t mind what Dong’s smells like.
I wonder if it was some idiot just upset over meat smell.
