Are there ways to get natural sunlight into your office?

You can open the windows but bugs can get inside then unless you have a window screen. However how do you know of your window screen is not blocking the sun rays? And is there a way to know if the sun rays are reflecting back onto you?

You could have an outdoor office but where I live, it can rain and get windy often which is not ideal for electronics, I dont want the wind to toss my keyboard around or rain to damage my laptop.

I do go for a run every day outside, but I want more sun light. Not direct sun light since I will either be inside or in the shade, but I do not want to be inside all day.

Any ideas to get the best of both worlds?
