Not really. While it’s only ~10% of total China’s trade that passes through Bab al-Mandab Strait the fact is that China showing their lack of power here. They were promised by Houthis save passage, but companies that operate the ships refuse to risk it and are going around the Africa anyway.

That’s more to do with things like insurance which is controlled by insidious anglos. Could just have to do with dealing with others who were participating in the capital strike but stopped when they realized it was pointless.

Idk why everyone is convinced china should suddenly become like the US and intervene here and shit

I’m against them or anyone else intervening. But that’s literally what they are doing. They are putting pressure on Iran to stop the attacks since it’s hurting China personally, which just shows that their public support for the ceasefire in Gaza was just for show. One can’t support both sides of the coin and not look like a hypocrite.

Reuters reporting doesn’t take political sides, they are probably the straightest shooters in western media. Unless you have a source that contradicts this, of course.

And sometimes it’s reasonable to have anonymous sources. Especially when we are talking about government insiders, whose actions can have huge impacts on foreign relations.

That source would be Reuters itself lmfao. Well, since you seem to post constantly I’ll give you a serious explanation of how deeply wrong you are and how journalism has progressively ceased to exist basically since Vietnam on various fronts and is now just white house stenography and “anonymous sources”

But that would be non shitposting, I’ll reply later, remember these are emails
