The stupid search bar is the Android version of having to put apps you don’t/rarely use in a hidden folder somewhere on iPhone. It’s stupid and these companies should know better.

At least you can pick another launcher, but last time I tried, I lost the ability to do gesture based navigation for Android internal design reasons. Is that still the case?
