Not a lot of progress yesterday. Did some reading of Architecture of a Database System. There’s a lot more going on under the hood of a DBMS than I realized.
You mentioning that so often makes me want to take a look… if/when I get some free time to do so.
If you do, I’ll have a copy that includes bookmarks to each section when I’m finished reading it because I’m bookmarking them as I go.
I’ll take it if you’re offering; what about your bookmarks, though? Won’t you miss them?
