For various reasons, one might want to take a break from a community.
The Feature to mute a community for a specified timeframe could compliment the already great feature to block a community.

I would love this feature for when I can’t watch sports live – being able to mute the community associated with my teams (like !reign_fc@lemmy.world for OL Reign matches) when I can’t watch the game live would allow me to browse my other communities without spoilers.
