>Regarding Dr. Kirkpatrick’s public letter of July 28, 2023: Section 1683 of the
2022 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) established a requirement for an
office, within DOD, to carry out the duties of the UAPTF. That office is now
AARO. >One of those specified tasks required reporting on “… number of reported
incidents, and descriptions thereof, of unidentified aerial phenomena associated
with military nuclear assets, including strategic nuclear weapons…” >My
testimony to AARO on February 15, 2023, now an official record, spoke
specifically of two separate incidents at Malmstrom AFB in March 1967 involving
the disabling of strategic nuclear missiles. On May 9, 2023, AARO received the
testimony of principal witness, David Schindele. >His testimony is about the
September 1966 Minot UFO incident that resulted in the disabling of ten
strategic missiles. These three incidents, occurring within the span of six
months, resulted in the disabling of thirty nuclear weapons during UFO
encounters. >They are now official historical records and can no longer be
denied, or ignored, by AARO or any other government agency giving serious
deliberations to the subject of the UAP incidents at nuclear weapons facilities.
>When I specifically asked them if they would be checking details of my
presentation with the Air Force, the reply was “not directly.” They indicated
that they were having trouble obtaining information from them on past events.
>Many of their inquiries to the Air Force had a standard evasive response of:
“Everything the AF has to say is a matter of record.” AARO indicated they would
leave it up to the Congress to sort out the validity of any official report such
as my presentation. >In his recent letter, Dr. Kirkpatrick stated, “The
Subcommittee…has never asked AARO for an update on the …historical review…”
Therefore, these testimonies have not been turned over to Congress to resolve.
If they were, why was I not invited to the recent hearing to testify? >Why
weren’t representatives of the U.S. Air Force invited to testify and respond to
the Malmstrom incidents? He also stated, “AARO has the authorities and resources
necessary to execute the mission to meet Congressional intent…” >So far, it
appears this statement is not correct with respect to AARO’s mission
responsibilities as stipulated above. If Dr. Kirkpatrick would like to challenge
any of the above, I invite him to do so. I have recorded the entirety of my
testimony and the AARO response. >If the House accepts the recommendation of
Rep. Burchett to establish a Select Committee with subpoena power, maybe we can
make some real progress on this important topic of UFO incidents at nuclear
weapons facilities.
