To answer the question though, I’d suggest a relatively small handful of people that have inherited incomprehensible generational wealth have the resources to enable favourable policies keeping them rich at the expense of the most others on this planet, wether by getting into a political position to do so or otherwise influencing the people in those positions.
A distressed teenager committing violent acts on an undeserving target. We’re dumb and violent, and the struggle for survival brings those traits out in spades. But homeless teens were never going to be the deciding factor in our survival.
