The wife uses hers to make rice. NGL it makes it twice as good as out of the rice cooker.

Damn, you must be buff as hell to be able to still lift this thing with just one arm, balancing on one leg!

I got a damaged one for £25. The enamel is dented, but it’s still good for breads if I use parchment

It would also work to plant some nice flowers. Not too bad at 25.

Yeah got to be careful with used though, I got a nice commercial grade saucepan at a junk shop last weekend for £3 and it leaks. Only found out after three rounds of scrubbing with bar keepers, too. That’s going to be good for flowers, you want some drainage after all.

Good choice, if you can afford them.I have a similar one by the same brand. Even the same colour. They’re very heavy, but it will last longer than I will.

Yeah. At a regular price I could never convince myself to get one. I do believe they’re worth what Le Creuset are asking for them however. The enamel is very high quality. A cheaper piece will do the same jobb though.

Look after it (especially the interior enamel - read Le Creuset’s instructions on their website) and it’ll do you for life.

We use ours several times a week. Good for making bread in, stews, any other meat in sauce type meals.

I had an undbranded one from a store before this one and it was great! Especially at €40. I hated the handles though. They were slightly underdimensioned and tended to try to break your thumbs when cleaning. Small thing that got annoying over the years. Gave it to someone who needed one.

The latest thing I did was to braise pork ribs for 8 hours. Came out real nice and jucy. Falling off the bone.
