…How? This is a multi billion dollar company. If a bunch of open source linux volunteers can make an OS how can Microsoft not atleast manage to make theirs function at a basic level? What is going on in Microsoft?

I remember when M$ released Vista Updates/Service Packs that had the potential to permanently hose your install and nobody really knew why, which was one of the reasons why a lot of people went out of their way to stay on 2000/XP for so long.
