I’d argue for a demisexual/demiromantic interpretation. I think it’s implied that she had feelings for Himmel, but she just never realized what her feelings were. It’s also explicitly mentioned that elves as a whole are becoming endangered due to their very low sex drive - suggesting that demi is typical for the species.
