I like using vanilla enhancing mods, like Sodium, Phosphor, MouseTweaks, or Xaero’s Minimap. Is anyone against mods like this, especially the minimap/waypoints?
What version does the server use? I made a Stalin mod for minecraft awhile back.
A what?
Amazing
Do you plan on updating it?
I’ll see. It’s not high on my priorities though.
I use client-side mods
Yeah, I don’t expect the admins to install any mods
We run plugins. But not mod mods.
I would honestly run server optimization mods to make the server better.
yeah, that’s probably a good idea, depending on how many people usually are online at peak
There’s a GitHub page for optimization mods and their notes.
Mods are authoritarian
Literally NKVD.
KilledBanned someone for just playing the game and placing down blocks
Map and Minimap mods can be installed on your client and work on servers. I have Xaeros on my client and it works on my friend serve who runs vanilla.
One of the few mods I think everyone should use is the tree cutting mod that lets you choo the first block of a tree and subsequently chops all blocks above it. It takes longer to cut the block and does more DMG to the axe durability but it’s still waaaaay better then having to chop each block on the tree.
what’s the name of that mod?

You can change it’s settings I think. When I used it I made it take longer to chip the bigger the tree because I didn’t want to feel too “cheaty.” I just wanted to not have to climb up the tree and not have to hunt for a random branch log but also not make tree farming completely trivial.
