So what if you’re a mod? That doesn’t mean that you’re right. Where the fuck do you get off threatening another user who makes a point you don’t like just because you have mod power?
You’ve been here long enough to know this is a card I play as a last resort. The fact remains the topic on the user’s mind is irrelevant to the topic of the thread. Just post a new one if that’s what you want to discuss. Like, I’m going to nix the Second Punic War should it come up for the same reason.
We are here for focused discussion. I’m not going to suddenly be like “what if I lowered the standards?”

What about moderation makes that so more than the average users experience? If anything I would think the biases and repetitive nature would do the opposite.

I speak plainly. There is no implied threat. I’m simply stating that my experience makes me suited to know when a fact is useful in a discussion.
