Just starting 3 of us are leaning and have played other games but want to get the game but be over whelmed.

I’d normally would advocate for a lance each (4-5ish mechs) however with 3 players thst might be a bit much, I’d lean towards 2ish mechs each with ideally simillar roles / pts
I’d encourage checking out the alpha strike box as a frame of reference and try to keep the selections limited to those mechs even if you don’t own the box/mechs
