Legal weed will not happen in Wisconsin until they get fair maps and can vote in reasonable people. I worked with WINORML from 98-08. Most supporters were libertarians who would vote in people who would never vote for legal weed.
It’s good to see some new talking points about it. She states that lobbying isn’t the issue. I’ve heard this too that the tavern League is not the problem. The problem are a few major poltical leaders.cough Voss cough.
And it’s really great to hear that multiple Republicans do want to legalize it. I’m just confused what is wrong with crossing party lines it’s clearly a bipartisan issue at this point.
But maybe Voss really is the scary shadow looming over them.
im some way, the legalization status of weed tells you a lot about the place you’re living in: if it’s still somehow illegal in your state at this stage; there’s something very wrong with your state and you should consider leaving if you want to maintain your sanity.
