Someone got their comment mocking this person deleted.

They said, “do you even know what words mean?”

.ml mod/admin in their ban reply: “reason: Yes, I studied the history of holocaust apologetics”

My eyes may get stuck, they’re rolling so hard. What would they say if I correctly characterized the third reich as authoritarian? Does that somehow make me a Holocaust denier? The logical inconsistency is making my brain hurt, somebody help please

It is indistinguishable from satire. The screenshot comment could be satire and the mod unable to distinguish it.

Kind of like when you call Hitler a form of socialist and get banned for “complimenting hitler”

There’s about the same amount of socialism in national socialism as there is democratic republicanism directly north of the Republic of Korea.

It’s awfully convenient that anything that could possibly lead to criticism of red fash is unacceptable to them.

Disempower the language of an oppressed group, and you disempower the group.

That is pretty accurate. There are a lot of key words that simply cannot be used in political discourse, leaving it almost impossible for advocate for policies that benefits the marginalized. It is a very effective method, as is so often demonstrated.

Me [facts are making me sad]: the word “bad” is literal Nazi genocide, please switch to “plusungood.”
