This man has nerves of steel. Dude said “you do what you gotta do I’m not running” to a man holding a gun in his face.
That young dude has 10 kids…he’s probably oblivious to violence by now.
pulls gun on man with 10 kids
Man with 10 kids opens mouth, grabs gun barrel with two hands, inserts barrel in mouth “Do it, let’s go, bitch. My shift ends in 30 minutes I ain’t got all day.”
Can’t say all that with the barrel in his mouth
He’s had practice.
Hoo it, weths go, bith. Hy fifth enths in furfy fmimiths I aif goth all thay
I threw it on the GROUND! I am not a part of this system!
I’m thankful that in all my years of working in retail, I never had a gun pointed at me. Having said that, random people get so bent out of shape about the most ridiculous, inconsequential things and it can be close to impossible to predict who it’s going to be or what is going to set them off.
Based on my experiences, if a customer is being indignant even after explaining that I was helping them out, I would apologize and remove the discount or ring the order up differently (if it was in my power to do so). More often than not, they calm down after they get what they want, even if it’s to their own detriment. Granted, after calming down, a not insignificant number of these folks will realize their mistake and then they have to figure out a way to save face so they can ask for the discount to be reapplied.
Idk why people are so angry out here at 9 in the morning
LOL, I love this guy’s perspective. Hear, hear!
I can understand why people could be angry. They have to be awake at 9 in the morning.
Definitely doesn’t excuse the gun and the racism.
That man is too fucking stupid to own a gun. Take it away, and put him in timeout.
That man is too fucking stupid to own a gun.
Or a car, for that matter.
Bet I can tell you something about the voting history of the guy who couldn’t understand basic math or the concept of a sale, perseverated on that fact long enough to come back to the burger king that tried to give him a deal, called the cashier a racial slur and pulled out a gun.
This is such an American phenomenon.
Even without the school shootings, this would be reason enough for me to say that the second amendment needs further amending.
I dunno, that guy sure looked like a well-regulated militia (งツ)ว
Stable behavior that indicates someone should have a firearm
If and/or when they catch him he’s going away for brandishing, menacing, maybe even attempted murder depending on how the case goes.
A felony conviction makes you a prohibited person, meaning no firearms or ammunition for life.
If the seller does a background check…
It will still be illegal for him to possess them or even try to obtain them.
The only way to purchase a firearm without a background check (that also isn’t an express ticket to federal pound-me-in-the-ass prison) is to buy a used firearm from a private individual in your state. That person also needs to not be a prohibited person themselves, cannot be a firearms dealer by trade, and the firearm must be legal to own in the state in which you both reside.
Online gun sales, new gun sales, and gun sales crossing state lines all require a background check be performed by a licensed dealer, known as an FFL. The ATF randomly audits about 10-15% of FFLs in a given year, which doesn’t include the number audited as a part of investigations following up on complaints and tips.
Sorry for the wall of text. Whenever people bring up background checks the uninformed yet highly opinionated tend to come out of the woodwork.
P.S.: If any of said individuals would like to prevent cases that slip through the cracks please write your representatives to increase ATF funding for enforcement activities.
It’s illegal, but because firearms are so hilariously ubiquitous, there is effectively no standard of ownership or storage, and law enforcement has inadequate tools to tackle gun tracing by design, there is ample opportunity for a prohibited person to unlawfully obtain a gun in the US. Made even more laugable by the open, legal marketing of products like the P80, which are ending up in police evidence lockups across the country.
The gun culture in America is inherently anti-social and anti-establishment, so rules and laws cannot just be lightly suggested and expected that they be followed. People need to consistently go to prison and permanently lose their gun rights for their fuckups to start changing things.
Did you write your representative like I asked or are you just here to vent?
I didn’t, because I live in a state that licenses gun owners, tracks all pistol purchases and actually throws people in jail for being criminally negligent with their guns. I can guess where they stand on gun control and gun law enforcement.
I assume you didn’t either, because you don’t actually care about any of this and just took the chance to info-dump and misdirect people who want to regulate your toys.
Hmmm methinks a good faith discussion will not be found here…
I’m sure the police are working overtime to solve this case. 🙄
Did he have a Gun to Protect himself from this Man he was giving a DIscount to? That’s the ONLY way to Prevent this SItuation!
