Cool video. I think helmholtz resonators are wildly underused and could improve a lot of spaces like restaurants, living rooms, and offices.
Can I have noise cancelling armour made out of them?
I just watched this earlier today, interesting concept. Now I wonder about the other commercially available hemholtz resonators that he mentioned.

In that case, someone should work on my idea instead: drones that use an array of microphones to pinpoint where a car horn comes from, and launches rotten eggs at it.
There’s a good reference prototype you can check, it’s from the early 2000’s featuring its debut in Malcolm in the Middle!

Two of those are mass transit and the rest don’t make very much noise.
50cc scooters are the worst, actually. Nothing like hearing the high-pitch squealing sound comparable to a leaf blower in your ear at 3am. I’d gladly see them banned from the city.
