100% of companies that have offered me a “lifetime” promise have rolled back on it, or collapsed, and plexs recent decisions make me suspect the latter.
What are these recent decisions? I’ve been on the Plex pass lifetime for about 10 years now and feel I’ve gotten tons of value out of it, especially now that $100 is about the price of 4 months of streaming services.
This move contributes to exactly the opposite - decreasing the probability of lawsuits and therefore decreasing the likelihood of collapse for Plex Inc.
$120, for anyone wondering.
